Services
Conservatorship:
MaxCorp serves as conservator (formerly known as guardian of the property) for various individuals who need assistance.
Typically, MaxCorp is appointed by the Probate Court to serve as a conservator for incapacitated persons who are not able to handle their own funds, or as a co-signer for minors who receive settlements in civil cases. The funds we manage include court judgments and awards, social security benefits, and annuity or structured settlement payments.
Trusts:
MaxCorp serves as trustee to administer special needs trusts and supplemental needs trusts (sometimes known as Medicaid payback trusts) for disabled persons, including investment and supervision of funds, and payment of supplemental expenses for the individual.
These trusts allow persons with disabilities to retain their eligibility for government benefits while providing for special needs over and above their entitlements. MaxCorp also serves as trustee for other types of trusts, as needed.
Reporting:
MaxCorp provides periodic accounting and reporting to the courts, co-guardians and beneficiaries.
